WE'VE GOT RHYTHM!!!!

Our students read Max Found Two Sticks this week. In the story Max used different objects around him to create rhythm. Our students then explored different rhythm patterns using their bodies and percussion instruments. We discussed time signature, measure, and beat in relation to music.

OK...here are some recent pictures of our class...These are from our Chinese New Year Parade! The kids worked so hard, and it was a blast!

Finally, I'm updating our class blog! I'm so sorry it's taken this long...but we have been so busy! Since the Christmas holidays, we have been learning some exciting things. I will post pictures soon!

Our trip to Mitchell Farms pumpkin patch!

The kids had a great time visiting the pumpkin patch! When we arrived, we went on a hayride around the farm. They gave us lots of information on how they run the farm. Next, we walked through their 8 acre maze! The kids were getting kind of panicked when they thought we were lost!

Our World CAN be drug free!!!

This week has been Red Ribbon Week at school! We have talked about the negative affects drugs can have on a person! Our school has been decked out in all the drug awareness. This is our drug free bulletin board!
